Graduate School of Theology

The graduate school of theology attracts students from all over the world  for a  Ph.D. in theology or religious studies. Students receive their formation in five research units (Biblical Studies, Systematic Theology, Theological Ethics, History of Church and Theology, Pastoral Theology) or in the Interdisciplinary Centre for the Study of Religion. They can also join specialised research groups such as the Centre for theology in a post-modern context, the Centre for the Study of Vatican Council II, the Centre for Septuagint Studies, the Centre of Peace Research, the Centre for Catholic Social Thought.  The theology library has the reputation of being the largest and the best library of theology in the World.
