KADOC is an interfaculty research centre of the K.U.Leuven focusing on the study of religion, culture and society. In this section you will find extensive information about the Centre's research activities.
On behalf of the Academic Council of K.U.Leuven, the ILT provides language support to faculties, institutes and departments.
HIVA specialises in academic and policy-oriented research. It is a multidisciplinary research institute which is associated with K.U.Leuven.
Institute of Classical Studies
The Leuven Institute of Classical Studies is a coordinating organisation of different research units and organisations which focus their research or activities on the history, culture, literature and ideas of antiquity and on their reception in West-European cultural history.
The Institute constitutes of the research units Ancient History, Latin Literature and Greek Studies (Faculty of Arts), the De Wulf-Mansion Centre for Ancient and Medieval Philosophy (Institute of Philosophy) and History of Church and Theology (Faculty of Theology), and welcomes the collaboration of individual researchers and organisations.
The Leuven Centre for Irish Studies (LCIS), officially launched on the 22nd of March 2010, is a multi- and interdisciplinary research centre of the Humanities and Social Sciences of the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. It is the result of close cooperation between the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and the Leuven Institute for Ireland in Europe.
