The conclusion of a new Framework Agreement and a Free Trade Agreement, have conducted the European Union and the Republic of Korea to upgrade their relationship to a Strategic Partnership. The purpose of this roundtable is to inquire into the economic and political cooperation between both actors. In this respect, the contributors will situate the EU-Korea Free Trade Agreement in both actors’ trade policy and explore some key political areas in which the EU and Korea cooperate or should cooperate more.
