Inbev-Baillet Latour EU-China Chair

Mission Statement

The InBev-Baillet Latour EU-China Chair stimulates interdisciplinary research on EU-China relations. It is attached to the Leuven Centre for Global Governance Studies and unites a large group of professors and researchers who are active in the field of the European Union and China. The Chair regularly organises conferences, lectures, workshops and other activities to communicate key issues to students, academics and the public opinion on Flemish, Belgian and international level. To achieve this, the Chair aims to develop synergies with the InBev-Baillet Latour EU-China Chair at the Université catholique de Louvain.

Management

The InBev-Baillet Latour EU-China Chair is coordinated by Prof. Dr. Jan Wouters, assisted by Mr. Matthieu Burnay. The Chair's initiatives are supported by a multidisciplinary Steering Committee that consists of senior academics with expertise on EU and/or China research from within the Humanities and Social Sciences.
