Research |
Li Zhao is a researcher in the Higher Institute of Labour Studies (HIVA) as well as Leuven Centre for Global Governance Studies, Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium, where she currently does a Ph.D. project focusing on the concept and practice of co-operatives in the West and China. She is a member of the Research Group Civil Society and Social Economy in the HIVA, as well as Living Stone Centre of Competence for Intercultural Entrepreneurship. Her current research interests include social economy and cooperative entrepreneurship in the West and new forms of social enterprises in China, China's cooperative economic organizations as well as China's civil society dynamics. Li Zhao graduated with an M.A. in Public Management from Tsinghua University in China in 2007. |
