Alessandro Mulieri joined the Centre in November 2010 as PhD candidate in the research programme Global Governance and Democratic Government. He is preparing a PhD in political theory focusing on the requirements of a new-realist theory of international affairs for the study of representation in EU governance. Alessandro studied Political Philosophy and Political Science at the University of Rome ‘La Sapienza’ and obtained an MSc in Politics and Government in the European Union from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He worked as a journalist within in the Italian parliament for four years and as a foreign correspondent from London. His research interests lie in the fields of applied political theory, international relations and governance theory/practices with a particular focus on the EU. |
