Research

His research interests include the foreign policy of the EU (CFSP and ESDP) and European immigration and asylum policy (and related aspects such as the protection of the Union’s external borders, the free movement of persons in the EU, etc...). His PhD research will focus on ‘networks’ and ‘network governance’ in EU foreign policy towards Somalia and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
